Here are some of the positive changes we’ve made across our business to help the environment:
We recycle 90% of the waste generated at our UK factory base
Through intelligent fleet management, we’ve cut an incredible 100,000 litres of diesel per year
We source materials from sustainable areas, and we’re proud members of the Forest Stewardship Council and Furniture Industry Sustainability Programme
In 2018 we earned status as a carbon neutral organisation, which means every gram of carbon dioxide we emit through production is also saved through energy efficiency initiatives
We’re proud of our on-going partnership with the UK’s leading marine charity, the Marine Conservation Society (MCS).
As part of the partnership, we’ve pledged financial support to ensure our seas are healthy, pollution-free and protected, while maintaining the breath-taking beauty of our enriched coastlines.
Our staff will also be getting involved with the charity’s wider initiatives, such as beach cleans, to protect our seas and the fascinating creatures that live beneath.
The Marine Conservation Society continues to do fantastic and crucial work across the UK. Last year alone, 568,000 pieces of litter were removed from our coasts as a result of MCS campaigns.
