Q : Hi, we are a small charity who find homes for people in
crisis, we help people in crisis by finding them somewhere to live
that's safe, affordable and comfortable. We currently have 2
properties that have been that have been passed to us for a period
of 5 years but are completely unfurnished. We have used some funding
for the decoration and carpeting but with very limited funding we
we have been unable to budget for furniture / lighting / tv's /
bedroom furniture / kitchen appliances. We only require the
following, artwork for living room, bedroom, kitchen &

properties into a home)outdoor furnitureside units (for tv and

local businesses and we are delighted with the help that local
businesses are willing to give.Once the properties are complete
bolton evening news and leigh journal are eager to do a story on
what we are doing for people in crisis and have stated that any
local businesses that have donated will be mentioned in the article
so this will provide a great opportunity for publicity for your
business. We understand if there is nothing you can do but we also
would be so grateful if you could help with anything at all.Thank
you.Mr C.D.Smith"people in crisis"

A : We are quite active in this area already throughour Collect
& Recycle scheme. Old beds are taken to a recycling facility
and where possible refurbished beds are sold at low cost to people
in need. The process is managed by our partner: West Lancs
Recycling, who I would suggest you contact for low cost refurbished
beds for this purpose.Good luck with your charity work.
