Our range of hospitality mattresses are developed and tested to withstand the rigours of hospitality and contract life. However, it is still important to care for your mattress to protect and prolong the life of your investment. Here’s some care information that may help:
Keep our tags and labels on the mattress once it arrives, these contain important information about the care and use of the mattress.
Try and air the mattress frequently, particularly after purchase when the packaging is removed and if possible, inbetween stays. This allows any residual moisture to escape.
You should always use a good quality mattress protector with your mattress – not only will this prevent any staining, but it will also prolong the life of the mattress too. Failure to do so may invalidate your guarantee.
If small spills occur, remove any bedding and mop up with towels or paper towels and allow the mattress to air dry.
Follow the turning / rotation instructions that are on the mattress label. Instructions may differ depending on the mattress.
Lift or move mattresses single handed – some of our mattresses can be very heavy and may need two people to move or rotate.
Bend or fold our mattresses – if they need to be stored, they should be stored flat, or upright.
Use steamers or cleaning equipment to clean our mattresses – this could affect the potency of the treatments applied to the mattress at manufacture for cleanliness and fire safety.
Continue to use our mattresses after they have been saturated with liquids – this will have damaged the fillings inside the mattress and they may no longer perform as designed.
Use extreme heat to dry spillages in mattresses – this includes hair dryers, steamers etc.
