What base finishes do you offer? We offer the following base finish types; Wood, Metal & Fabric
What base support types do you offer? We offer the following base support types; sprung slats, solid slats, slatted base & padded platform.
What types of filling do you offer? We offer a wide range of fillings, catering to those who suffer from allergies with hypo-allergenic & anti-allergy pillows to high performance environmentally friendly fibres or the naturally cooling effect of a cotton duvet.
What types of pillow firmness do you offer? We offer Firm, Medium or Soft pillow support, all of our pillows have a firmness rating stated, to help you make the right choice every time.
Our experts will almost always recommend a soft and fairly slim pillow for front sleepers, those who sleep on their side or their back can have a preference for several different levels of support and thickness.
If you like a very firm pillow, memory foam and latex pillows will generally be the best option; with hollowfibre usually offering a medium level of support and natural fillings such as down offering the most gentle support.
How do I clean my mattress and/or base? No mattress is completely colourfast. We, therefore, recommend that you use a mattress cover, which will protect it from coming into contact with body moisture or other liquids.
Do not use detergents or chemical cleaners on your mattress as this is likely to damage the fabric and stitching.
How often should I turn my bed? If you have purchased a double sided mattress it is important that you turn it over and rotate it from ‘top-to-toe’ once a week for the first two or three months and then monthly thereafter.
If you have purchased a single sided mattress this will just need rotating from ‘top-to-toe’ once a week for the first two or three months and then monthly thereafter.
You should alternate between turning the mattress over and rotating it from top-to-tail to ensure even settlement. If your mattress has handles, use these to position it on the divan base.
Do not allow the mattress to bang or fall against the side of the divan, as this may damage the spring system.
Can I machine-wash a duvet or pillows at home? Our hollowfibre pillows are machine washable at 60 degrees C, for other products check your individual product packaging details for washing instructions.
We also recommend washing pillows one at a time to get the best results.
