People should get as big a bed as they can afford.

According to the Sleep Council, larger beds will be
more comfortable for couples as it is harder to be disturbed by a
partner's movements.

Ultimately, individuals will get what they pay for when it comes to
quality, so they should not be afraid to invest a significant
amount of money in the product.

Over the course of a seven-year timeframe, which is how long people
usually keep a bed for, a person will spend around 20,000 hours
sleeping.

The Sleep Council added everyone has to consider their weight and
build when looking into purchasing a bed and not just the firmness
of the structure itself.

When testing out mattresses,
people should spend at least ten minutes lying down, as this will
give them the chance to find out whether or not the bed is going to
be comfortable enough.
