In September, The Sleep Council are bringing back their Sleeptember initiative. For the third year running, the campaign looks into how well we sleep, how you can get a better night's sleep and the benefits that a good night's sleep can bring. 

 Research has found that a third of us only sleep for five-to-six hours a night. As a basic and fundamental human requirement, sleep is vital for encouraging good physical, mental and emotional health as well as crucial for memory, learning and growth.  

 Throughout the month of Sleeptember, we'll be running competitions on our Facebook and Twitter pages alongside sharing our sleep guru, Dr Nerina's expert tips to get your best night's sleep.
