Channel kids'' imagination through bedroom decor

The time will eventually come when you'll have to redecorate your child's bedroom, but the experience doesn't need to be as daunting as you might think.
Kids will often have a good idea of what they want their bedroom to look like, from the type of bed they want to the colour that goes on the wall.
It is important not to let their imagination run too wild, but by harnessing some of their creative ideas, you can undertake a project that both of you will enjoy.
One thing to bear in mind is that kids' tastes change on a regular basis, so their favourite TV show this week might not even be in their top ten in a fortnight's time.
As with any decor project, try to keep things neutral, but don't be afraid to experiment with some bright colours and patterns to liven things up a little.
