Federer wins BNP Paribas Masters final despite lack of sleep

Roger Federer has revealed that he did not sleep well in the lead up to the BNP Paribas Masters final.
Parents of young children often find themselves deprived of sleep, but few of them will get out of bed in the morning to compete in the BNP Paribas Masters final.
However, this was the case for Roger Federer over the weekend, who stormed to a straight sets victory over Jo-Wilfried Tsonga despite a lack of shut-eye the night before.
Federer is a father to two-year-old twin daughters, who apparently often give him restless nights.
"I was hoping that during the night it would go well, but suddenly I was running with Mirka in the room to see if everything was okay," he told reporters.
His wife, Mirka, suggested that the child should get into their bed - something Federer was not willing to argue with at that time of the morning.
"In the end, it was all right. I am happy," he revealed, adding that it had happened on a number of occasions throughout the week.
