Mattresses wreak havoc on Aberdeenshire bridge
04/11/2011
Mattresses recently caused all sorts of mayhem in Aberdeenshire, after a lorry carrying several tons of stock overturned.
The lorry encountered problems on the Findlayson Bridge two miles north of Stonehaven when it eventually ended up on its side.
Some of the mattresses fell into the water below, reports STV News, therefore causing disruption in the area for just over two hours.
A Grampian Police spokeswoman told the news provider: "It did lose some into the water. As far as I am aware there were no injuries."
A Teme Valley spokesperson recently highlighted how a good mattress can help improve people's performance during the day, as sleep has a number of restorative properties.
They emphasised that anyone who fidgets during the night will probably find their body is not supported well enough, which is often down to their choice of bedding.
The importance of selecting the right bed linen was also stressed by the expert.
