Resting up in bed has not proved worthwhile for tennis star Andy Murray, who has been forced to pull out of the Swiss Indoors.
He has suffered a right gluteal strain, which the world number three believes he suffered during his sleep.
The 24-year-old underwent two training sessions on Monday (October 31st), but then felt a problem the following day and therefore decided not to play.
Speaking to reporters, he said that he had never suffered an injury like this in the past.
He continued: "It is something to do with the sciatic nerve and they think I did it in my sleep. Maybe I was sleeping in a bad position."
Two-time F1 champion Sebastian Vettel recently told the Abendblatt newspaper that he was looking forward to some time on his mattress after his win in Japan.
After some celebrations, he revealed that rest was necessary before heading over to Korea for his next race.
