Look out for signs of insomnia
13/10/2011
Many people suffer from insomnia as they lie in their beds at night, but relatively few actually realise they have the problem.
There are, however, some signs that they can look out for to help determine whether or not they have the condition.
One of the first signs is an inability to doze off to sleep; an individual may find themselves tossing and turning, or even unable to switch their mind off when it comes to bedtime.
Further to this, anyone who does manage to drop off is not necessarily free of insomnia, as frequently waking up during the night and struggling to go back to sleep is also an indicator.
If this is a relatively new problem, it may be worth seeing how long it lasts for, as people will often experience periods of sleeplessness during times of increased stress.
Zeo recently launched a new app called Sleep Manager, which aims to track people's quality of sleep.
