Mattress choices can prove confusing
27/09/2011
Mattress manufacturers are always in search of new ways to improve their portfolios of products, but the choice can prove too much for some consumers.
Pocket sprung and memory foam mattresses are two of the most popular options on the market, but they are far from the only models that customers can choose from.
Coils are effective at supporting the body, but people need to be certain to select a product that has strong metal to ensure the mattress stands the test of time.
A memory foam mattress, on the other hand, will shape itself to the contours of the bed and constantly adjusts itself to the sleeper's position throughout the night.
Anyone who is not quite ready for making the shift to memory foam can invest in a mattress topper, which can be used on top of an existing bed to see whether it is suitable.
