Choosing a colour scheme may be a chore

Undertaking an interior design project is no easy task, especially when it comes to selecting a colour scheme.
With so many different hues to choose from and trends to follow, knowing which one to opt for is often perplexing for any homeowner.
Designers often recommend opting for a muted colour scheme when decorating the area surrounding a bed in order to make it easier to sleep in.
Barbara Heilmann, certified interior designer and owner of Barbara Heilmann Interior Design, noted that these shades are starting to make a comeback in the nation's homes.
She told northjersey.com: "I'm seeing a lot of the naturals right now; browns, oranges, earth tones."
Ms Heilmann emphasised that people often neglect to take their ceilings into account, saying that they should be considered as the "fifth wall" of a room.
In larger rooms, it could even be possible to make a real feature of the ceiling, added the expert.
