Google helps make finding comfy beds easier

Finding a decent bed in an unfamiliar city can often be no easy task, so Google has developed an app to take the stress out of locating a good hotel.
Known as the Google Hotel Finder, the mobile phone app draws upon a range of information to help people make the right decision on where to spend the night.
The software will highlight the popular locations within an area, while giving users the chance to map a certain region they want to stay in.
A shortlist can then be compiled, from which consumers can narrow the results down depending on price and a range of other factors.
Statistics from the Pew Research Centre recently showed that many people are sleeping with their mobile phone close to their bed at night.
It found that 35 per cent of adults in the US have a smartphone, with two-thirds of this amount keeping it close by as they sleep.
