Hotel chain debuts snore absorption rooms

Couples who worry about being unable to sleep in their bed when they stay away from home can now check into innovative new rooms at Crowne Plaza hotels.
The chain has developed a series of snore absorption rooms, which contain technology aimed at reducing the effects of snoring.
Guests can check into the rooms in London, Leeds and Manchester, which are also manned by snore patrols.
"We have quiet zones on two floors of the hotel. As Snore Monitor, I conduct floor walks to check for noise disruptions, paying particular attention to the quiet zone rooms," said Laura Simpson, the snore monitor at Leeds Crowne Plaza hotel.
She noted that light sleepers can ask to stay in the quiet zone during their stay, but if they are found to make a little too much noise, they may be asked to check into a standard room next time.
