Simple changes can really improve home decor

Making improvements to home decor does not have to be a costly exercise, as there are various ways it can be achieved on a budget.
For example, people can enhance the appearance of their bed by adding a few colourful cushions, or anyone who is feeling creative could possibly even reupholster their headboard.
Updating lighting is another way of boosting the look of the bedroom, as a couple of new lamps can quite literally show the space in a new light.
There are even means of changing the appearance of a bedroom without spending any cash at all, as rearranging the furniture and having a good spring clean can have just as much of an impact.
Ros Alcock, consultant on the House Doctor Network, recently suggested that homeowners should first address their floors and walls when redesigning rooms.
This may involve investing in a new piece of art for the wall, or even a new rug.
