Runner goes without his bed for charity run

One long-distance runner has left his bed behind to complete a 184-mile challenge to raise cash for a good cause.
Donnie Campbell, a former marine, ran the route from Glasgow to Portree in aid of Skye Cancer Care, for which he raised approximately £8,000.
More than 400 people greeted the 26-year-old at the end of his journey, which he managed to complete without stopping for sleep.
The run took around 44 hours and 33 minutes to complete and is believed to have been the equivalent of running seven marathons back-to-back.
In recent days, a number of business executives and government ministers in Australia slept rough in order to raise money for homeless charities throughout the country.
Known as CEO Sleepout, the annual event takes place in various locations and this year attracted foreign minister Kevin Rudd, alongside big names from banks, mining companies and law firms.
