Blinds and curtains could complement a good mattress

Brits are increasingly relying on more than just a good mattress, pillow and bed to get a sound night's sleep.
Blinds and curtains are now as much about controlling lighting and temperature levels in a room as maintaining privacy, according to UK Blinds.
The retailer's national sales and marketing manager, Marian Byrne, explained that the historic tendency to install net curtains to protect against neighbours' prying eyes has very much changed.
She noted: "Now people dress their windows, but also they do it with light control and insulation.
"It's a very big feature, as it makes your room cool in the summer and warm in the winter."
People who suffer from insomnia are often advised by doctors to ensure that their sleeping environment is comfortable before settling down in bed.
In addition to ensuring a room is not too noisy, cold or bright, sufferers are also advised to establish a good sleeping routine, focusing on getting relaxed before going to bed.
