Inject some personality into the bedroom

Some homeowners find the situation daunting when it comes to redecorating their homes, but one thing to bear in mind is that the design should reflect personality, one interior designer has noted.
Jo Hamilton explained that there is no longer a single design trend to follow when it comes to choosing anything from a new bed to a different colour to paint on the wall.
"People are wanting to be creative and to show their own personalities within their interiors. Gone are the days when people were just copying somebody else," she explained.
Ms Hamilton stressed that people should not be afraid of putting items together from different sources, as this can often lead to a quirky look that is the envy of everybody.
Award-winning interior decorator Laura Stein recently told yourhome.ca that too many homeowners make the mistake of starting their decorating project with a pot of paint.
