Separate mattresses may lead to better rest
05/05/2011
Couples who fail to agree on which type of mattress to purchase may find there are benefits to buying two separate ones.
Mattress manufacturers have come up with a range of solutions to this problem over the years, including double-sided beds and even mattresses that can be zipped together.
Everyone has something different they need from their mattress, with some individuals preferring a firm surface, while others will need something softer to sleep on.
Satisfying both parties may not be a particularly easy task, and failing to compromise could lead to a very poor night's sleep indeed as one person tosses and turns to try and get comfortable.
Although buying two separate products may seem like a strange concept at first, if it helps to avoid sleepless nights, the decision will be worth it.
The British Snoring & Sleep Apnoea Association will be assessing the impact of snoring on people's sleeping habits as part of National Stop Snoring Week between May 9th and 13th.
