New bedroom decor needn''t break the bank

28/04/2011

New bedroom decor needn''t break the bank Redecorating a bedroom does not have to be an expensive activity, especially if people are selective about what they buy.

Investing in some new bed linen is an effective way of making an impression, as is adding a splash of colour to the bedroom walls.

Even if homeowners merely opt to create a feature wall they will see a real difference to the overall appearance of the space, which does not require a large capital outlay to achieve.

Second-hand shops are a great place to pick up bargains and people may find they can purchase a few choice accessories for their bedroom without needing to splash the cash.

A different lamp or mirror can add a bit of excitement to a space, especially if it has been a while since the room was last redecorated.

Spots are believed to be on-trend at the moment, so may be worth considering as part of any design project.
