Don''t bring unwanted souvenirs back from holiday
22/03/2011
As boring as it may seem, time should be taken out on holiday to check the bed is not infested with creatures, Bed-Bugs.co.uk has explained.
In an article for the Daily Express, the website noted that they can easily creep into luggage and make the journey home, wreaking havoc in people's bedrooms.
The bugs are generally around 7mm long and have a reddish-brown colour, but despite their size, can cause all manner of problems in homes around the UK.
David New from Bed-Bugs.co.uk told the paper: "You are more likely to find bed bugs where there are large numbers of people.
"You can pick them up in hotels, hostels, care homes, airports and on public transport."
An article for StarNews Online recently said that homeowners always need to choose bedding that is going to offer them the best comfort possible, rather than attempting to follow the latest trends.
