Bedroom decor choices ''vast and varied''

Homeowners hoping to redecorate the area surrounding their bed will find there are many options to choose from, a freelance interior designer has said.
Catherine Gasquet pointed out that design magazines can be a good place to start, although can prove somewhat overwhelming at first.
"It's always interesting to look around. On the other side, people are lost, and it's very difficult for people to make a final decision, as sometimes they can be scared," she continued.
The expert noted that one of the most elegant parts of the bedroom needs to be the curtains, as their colour will help bring the look of the rest of the room together.
Design expert Sarah Richardson recently told the Globe and Mail that many people are scared to opt for neutral colours in the bedroom, as they fail to realise just how effective they can be.
In some cases, they are more striking than bright colours, she suggested.
