Mattress sharing could disrupt sleep

Couples who cannot sleep may not realise that the problem is at least in part due to their mattress, an expert has said.
The problem arises because men and women have quite different requirements from their bed, Dr Neil Stanley explained in an article for the Daily Mail.
"Women in particular need a mattress that will support their curvier bodies, so a mattress needs to be soft enough to do this," the independent sleep expert said.
Men need a firmer mattress because their bodies are generally straighter, therefore encouraging them to sleep more soundly.
It was recently revealed by the Understanding Society report that people who are the most financially-stable are more likely to enjoy sound sleep on their mattresses than those who are not.
The research also found that married people with a high level of education are more likely to rest well.
