Unmade beds are not uncommon

People all over the country are leaving their beds unmade in the morning, a new poll from Premier Inn has found.
The budget hotel chain discovered that more than half (57 per cent) of those questioned never make their bed, although 65 per cent wish someone would step in and do it for them.
Perhaps more surprisingly, 94 per cent confessed that if they went to stay with someone and the bed was not made they would not consider it to be out of the ordinary.
Steve Conway, head of marketing at Premier Inn, noted: "We think that it is extremely important to keep a neat and tidy bed and want to try to encourage the nation to see that bed-making can be fun."
Sleep Council spokeswoman Jan Turner recently said that anyone hoping to buy a new bed needs to make sure they try it out first, as everyone's preferences will be different.
