Don''t be afraid to buy a new bed

People should not be afraid to think about purchasing a new bed once their old one is past its best, a spokesperson from the Sleep Council has said.
As soon as a bed stops being supportive and comfortable, it is time for a change, noted Jan Turner.
"A tired old bed that dips in the middle, has springs poking out or is generally worn or no good anymore needs replacing," she continued.
Ms Turner highlighted that if an individual cannot sleep - and their bed is not to blame - then it may have something to do with the environment they are trying to rest in.
She advised making sure the optimum bedroom temperature is between 18 and 22 degrees C, as this is most conducive to a great night's sleep.
This follows YouGov research that shows 37 per cent of Brits get seven hours sleep per night, while 24 per cent revealed that they doze off for eight hours.
