Bedroom must be a place to shut down

The bedroom should be a place for ultimate relaxation and where thinking is kept to an absolute minimum, an expert has said.
Judy Pickett, owner of interior design company Design Lines, said everyone needs a sanctuary where they can retreat to at the end of a hectic day.
"After a day in your busy life, you need a place where you can shut down the constant thinking, deciding and organising that goes on in your head," she told kivitv.com.
Ms Pickett recommended that the bedroom is cleared of clutter - possibly through the use of storage beds - as this will help avoid fretting about tidying up.
Removing electronic items from the bedroom may also be beneficial, she noted, as anything that will "restart your brain in stress mode" will be a barrier to relaxation.
A piece from everydayhealth.com recently explained that people need to think carefully about what they do before going to bed in order to sleep properly.
