Double-sided duvet helps eradicate bed wars
18/01/2011
One couple have invented a new double-sided duvet in order to reduce arguments that arise between those sharing the same bed.
Ian and Ruth Pressman, from St Albans, encountered the problem of needing to sleep in different temperatures after they got into bed.
The husband and wife team then decided to take action and invented the CosyCool, which enables different duvet covers with varying tog ratings to be clipped onto it.
Mr Pressman explained how one night he woke up feeling far too hot - then the idea came to him.
"I just suddenly thought, what we need is so simple - a duvet which is thicker on one side than it is on the other and can be changed whenever you feel like it," he explained.
The Jamaica Observer recently revealed that couples thinking of sleeping in separate beds need to think carefully about why they want to make the change and address any underlying issues.
