Try before you buy with mattresses

There is no other option but to try out mattresses before making a purchase, one consumer has suggested.
Considering how much time is spent in bed, and how long a mattress is expected to last for, Cathy Alter explained that there is no room for settling for second best.
Ms Alter estimated that around 23,360 hours is spent, on average, sleeping on a mattress, so making the right choice is essential.
In a piece for the Washingtonian, she noted how she had taken extreme measures to find herself the perfect bed by trying out a variety of different styles with her husband.
Thankfully, he worked at a bed shop, giving the couple access to a wide variety of mattresses before making their final decision.
Recent findings from the Financial Services Compensation Scheme showed that many people are stashing their cash under the mattress in a bid to avoid bank charges.
