Adjustable beds ''appealing to younger generations''

Efforts are being made to ensure adjustable beds are more attractive to younger generations, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) has claimed.
It highlighted how they now come with a range of features, with everything from massage therapy to iPod docks, in a bid to make them more appealing.
One of the main challenges that bed companies have had to overcome is the association with hospital beds, which is often the only time people have had contact with adjustable mattresses.
However, the WSJ pointed out that there are so many practical uses for these beds that many consumers will find them beneficial.
"I think the thing that attracted me was that I read in bed, so I'm constantly stuffing pillows behind me," adjustable bed fan Karen Lansing told the news provider.
Jessica Alexander, spokeswoman for the Sleep Council, recently explained that split beds can often be a good way to ensure couples can rest well, particularly if they have different sleeping styles.
