Bed technology ''can benefit warring couples''

Couples who share a bed and have very different sleeping styles will find there are mattresses to suit their needs, an expert has said.
There is no longer the need for people to suffer in silence, explained Jessica Alexander, spokeswoman for The Sleep Council, as beds can be purchased that are divided into two.
Each side has a different type of mattress, meaning one might be slightly firmer or softer than the other, giving sleepers the comfort they need at night.
Other benefits may arise if one person is heavier than the other, or if someone likes a lower sleeping temperature than their partner.
"That's very commonly available, also there are manufacturers who can accommodate to different types of tension within one mattress as well," Ms Alexander added.
The expert also recently pointed out that there are mattresses now available that cater to the needs of people with health complaints such as asthma.
