Zip and link beds ''cater to all needs''
20/12/2010
People who find their partner has a very different sleeping style to them may find that a zip and link bed is a worthy investment.
These are essentially made up of two mattresses that are linked together or can be used as two single beds, Jessica Alexander of the Sleep Council revealed.
"That means you can have mattresses with different tensions, or different types of filling," she explained, which may lead to a range of benefits.
For example, if one person is allergic to feathers or animal hair, then they can have a material they are not going to react to, or if a sleeper feels warmer at night than their partner.
Ms Alexander also recently explained that people should take the same approach to buying beds as they would to purchasing a new pair of shoes.
This means they should consider comfort and style, the expert noted.
