Give sofa beds the boot this Christmas

Expecting guests to sleep on sofa beds this Christmas is often not the best option, iol.co.za has claimed.
It emphasised that these are not the most comfortable of beds, so homeowners should go in search of something their guests are likely to enjoy.
Interior designer Nina Campbell commented: "If you want people to come and stay, your ultimate priority should be the ability to provide an inviting, comfortable bed and surroundings."
Using an existing bed is not as difficult to integrate into a living area as people believe, she explained, as it can be dressed up with a variety of cushions and accessories.
Other advice suggested that the room can be made all the more comfortable with some carefully selected lamps and soft furnishings.
The Aberdeen Press and Journal recently said that people need to take steps to make their beds stylish this winter, which includes the use of faux fur throws and luxury bed sheets.
