Investing in bunk beds is a great way to create more space in a children's bedroom, the Stir blog has suggested.
Freeing-up the floor means there is more space for youngsters to play, the piece highlighted, while also giving the opportunity to invest in bedroom furniture.
Children's beds such as bunks enable the imaginations of both young and old alike to run wild, as they can easily be transformed into a tent or a fort using a simple sheet, the article revealed.
Furthermore, bunk beds mean that if one child wants to stay up and read then they can do so by investing in a clip-on lamp to be put on the bed frame, it added.
The merits of sofa beds were recently acknowledged by expressandstar.com, which said that they are both a functional and stylish way to put up guests over the festive period.
