Designer Joanna Wood told the website: "The whole look for interiors is about luxury and textiles, and nowhere is that more important than the bed."
She added that as people spend so much time in their beds, they need to be made as luxurious as possible to help make sleeping all the more pleasurable.
The Globe and Mail recently urged homeowners to get themselves a decent pillow and mattress, as this will help create the foundations for a great night's sleep.
