Newcastle beats mattress toppling record

An unusual world record has been beaten in Newcastle, following a game of mattress dominoes.
Last Saturday (October 2nd), 400 mattresses were toppled, beating the previous record in New York City by 20 mattresses.
The other record had only stood for a fortnight, with Newcastle residents keen to make their mark on history.
Plans had been in place for four months, so the team were understandably pleased with the success of their efforts over the weekend.
Fewer people than expected turned out for the event, so organisers had to improvise using the participants they had to ensure it was a success.
McRoskey.com recently reported comments made by interior designer Lisa Staprans, who explained that there is simply no substitute for good quality mattresses.
They are essential to improving both sleep and health, the expert noted, while also helping ensure a bedroom is conducive to a great night's sleep.
