Bedroom ''not the best place to study''

Enabling children to do their homework while lying on their bed may not be the most effective, it has been suggested.
School principal Dan Haley revealed to the Edmonton Journal that the bedroom as a whole is generally not the best place to study.
"The bedroom is identified with the relaxation area, the play area, and not necessarily the work area," he told the news provider.
"They really need to have an organised and structured study time and space that is undisturbed."
Mr Haley emphasised that each child will learn differently, so their needs must be addressed when determining where they are going to work.
One might learn best sat at the kitchen table, while the other may need a personalised study space, he added.
Australian researchers have recently emphasised the need to ensure children have enough sleep, as it can improve mental health later in life.
