Siesta aims to help workers unwind

One budget hotel chain is doing its bit for some of the country's most sleep deprived workers by holding a Classical Siesta.
Travelodge believes around 22 million people throughout the UK do not get enough rest, with the average sleep debt standing at 12 hours a week.
As a result, the company is taking action by holding classical music events to help people unwind at the end of a hectic day, after previous meetings have proved successful.
Shakila Ahmed, Travelodge spokeswoman said: "The Classical Siesta provides the perfect lunch time retreat for exhausted workers to relax, take a nap and feel revitalised; resulting in improved physical, mental and emotional health."
This follows the Travelodge 2010 Sleep Deprivation Poll, which found that three-quarters (75 per cent) of the British workforce sleeps for less than the recommended eight hours.
Factory workers, civil servants, bankers and doctors were found to be some of the professions with the most sleep deprived staff.
