Mattress covers ''a must'' for university-goers

It is essential for students heading off to university for the first time to invest in a mattress cover, an article has claimed.
In many cases, the beds provided in universities can be "very questionable", the Battle Creek Enquirer suggested, so efforts need to be made to improve the situation.
The article told parents: "A mattress cover zips all around the top and bottom of the bed, creating a barrier between it and your kid."
Purchasing a brand new mattress may not be possible for some parents, so the news provider suggested that this could be a worthy alternative.
This will protect the individual from dust mites, mildew and anything else that may make sleeping uncomfortable, the article added.
A piece for Caring.com recently said that couples can solve the problems arising from sharing the same mattress by purchasing twin beds and putting them together.
