Mattress arguments ''can be solved''
04/08/2010
Those who share a bed with their partner may find they have disagreements over their mattress, but these problems can be easily resolved.
This is according to an article from Caring.com, which said that women often prefer their mattresses much softer than their male counterparts.
As a result, purchasing an adjustable split mattress could solve the problem, as each person is able to control their own side of the bed.
Using a mattress topper on one side of the bed can also be beneficial, the article highlighted, as this offers a cheap way of ensuring comfort for both partners.
Another option is to put two single beds together, as this way different mattresses can be purchased to suit individual needs.
Health magazine recently emphasised that when buying a new mattress, people should ensure they get a guarantee to ensure its quality.
Mattresses should be replaced on a regular basis to make sure they provide adequate support, it added.
