Bed given ''sunny makeover''

One woman in the US liked the redesign plans for her bed so much she followed the blueprint almost exactly, it has been reported.
The Washington Post''s weekly House Calls column asks readers in the area to send pictures of rooms in their homes that they want redesigning.
Margaret Harris from Alexandria was concerned her bedroom, including her bed and mattress, looked they were from the 1980s.
The newspaper teamed her up with Panache Interiors designer Wanda A Alexander, who came up with a sun-inspired makeover involving lots of yellow shades on the walls around her bed and new yellow bed spread to cover her mattress.
Choosing the correct colour of bed spread is vital when thinking about redesigning a bedroom, according to the Reading Eagle''s Decorating Diary.
Writing for the newspaper, Joanie Freidman said that the bed spread colour should be chosen before the wall paint colour because there is so much choice for the latter.
