Real wood furniture ''still in fashion''

Wooden beds and other furniture is still proving popular as an interior design material, according to a leading interior design expert.
Versatility is one of the main advantages of wood as a furniture and interior design material, claims Carolyn Park Interior Design head of design practice Carolyn Park.
She explained that wood "enables you to do anything, in any shape of form".
Ms Park added: "Wooden floors are very fashionable, and of course the benefit of them is that you can use them with underfloor heating which goes back to the ecology.
"The wooden floor has made everybody fall back in love with real wood."
Chartreuse or burnt orange tones can be a great complement for darker wooden furniture in the bedroom, according to an article by Leanne Brownoff in the Edmonton Journal.
She recommended matching simple furniture designs with straightforward decor changes, occasionally contrasting these with colours and patterns added in small amounts.
