Neutral bed linens are the best choice when redecorating the bedroom, it has been claimed.
According to Leanne Brownoff in the Edmonton Journal, keeping the colour palette neutral will ensure the bedroom décor caters to all tastes.
The freelance designer suggested that a luxurious white cotton duvet cover is one of the best items that can be put in the bedroom.
Other aspects of the bedroom can also help accentuate the white bed linen, the expert explained.
"A sheer drum-shade light above the bed would be a perfect balance to the monochromatic sophistication that your room will exude," she continued.
Furthermore, Ms Brownoff recommended putting black and white photographs on the wall to add a real touch of class to the room.
The Winnipeg Free Press recently highlighted that bedrooms can benefit from inspiration drawn from nature when it comes to colour schemes and textures.
