Mattresses must be best-suited to individual needs

Selecting the right mattress is just as, if not more important than decorating the bedroom, it has been claimed.
An article for lonad.com revealed that in order to have a comfortable night''s sleep, people need to think about which position they tend to fall asleep in best.
There are a number of options available to consumers, it explained, including spring mattresses, latex mattresses and memory foam mattresses.
Many people find a spring mattress the most favourable option, mainly because they provide maximum support for the whole shape of the body, it claimed.
The article suggested that these products may not be ideal for those with back problems, who instead should perhaps opt for memory foam mattresses.
It was revealed earlier this month that an innovative new mattress had been designed for use in NHS hospitals to reduce bed sores.
Estimates suggest it could save the health service millions in treating pressure ulcers.
