Simple changes help summer sleep struggles

Making slight changes to the bedroom can make a real difference for those who struggle to sleep when it is hot and sticky.
This is according to sleep expert Dr Ian Smith from Papworth Hospital, who revealed that the body needs to cool down slightly in order to create optimum sleep conditions.
One option is to keep the bedroom curtains closed during both the day and night, as this will help ensure the room does not heat up too much.
Dr Smith also revealed to the Sun that opening the windows can make a real difference because air is able to circulate.
"If you are having trouble nodding off at night, make sure that you stay out of bright sunlight towards the end of the day," he also recommended.
Researchers in the US recently found that disturbed sleep can increase the chances of suffering a migraine.
