Christine Bleakley ''will have to adapt to sleepless nights'' Christine Bleakley will have to cope with interrupted sleep patterns and extreme tiredness when she takes up the reins at GMTV, a former presenter has warned.

Fiona Phillips, who left the show in recent months after 15 years on the job, said managing tiredness is one of the main parts of the role.

In her blog for the Daily Mirror, Phillips said that she now much prefers her bed to the famous morning TV sofa.

"I was getting an average of about four to five hours'' kip a night for most of my time on the GMTV sofa and sleep deprivation is not a kind bed-fellow," she explained.

Still, it was not all bad, the TV personality joked, but it is certainly something the show''s latest recruit will find a challenge.

Actress Sandra Bullock recently revealed to Now magazine that since she adopted her son Louis, she is struggling to get more than three hours'' sleep a night.
