iPhone apps can help with sleep

iPhone apps could have a positive impact on people''s ability to sleep, it has been suggested.
An article for ABC News identified a number of apps that can lend a helping hand, including a self-meditation guide.
It eases the person into a more relaxed state by giving suggestions for breathing patterns that can help someone doze off more quickly.
Furthermore, the Sleep Cycle Alarm Clock app provides a means of analysing sleeping habits, as it logs how frequently a person tosses and turns.
"The app will monitor your movement and wake you in your lightest sleep phase so you arise feeling refreshed and well-rested," the article continued.
Another option is Ambient Sleep, providing relaxing music, an alarm clock and a sleep diary feature that enables people to log their daily sleeping patterns.
An article for the Idaho Statesman recently encouraged people to adopt rituals in order to fall asleep more effectively.
