Work worries make Brits sleep deprived

Civil servants and bankers are among the workers most likely to lose sleep over their jobs, a new survey shows.
A study of more than 6,000 conducted by budget hotel chain Travelodge shows these groups, alongside teachers, doctors and factory workers, are the most sleep deprived.
Of the bankers questioned, it was discovered they were getting just six hours and eight minutes of sleep per night.
Civil servants, meanwhile, fared even worse by clocking up a mere five hours and 53 minutes of rest.
With sleep experts recommending at least eight hours of shut eye, the hotel chain emphasised that people need to do more to ensure they are getting quality rest.
The Harvard School of Public Health and Brigham & Women''s Hospital recently established a link between high levels of air pollution in the summer months and disrupted sleep patterns.
It found that as temperatures warm up and air pollution increases, people have more problems getting to sleep.
