A Coronation Street actor will be lending his support to a charity bed push next month to help raise cash for a good cause.
Steve Huison, best-known for playing Eddie Windass in the popular soap, will be taking part in the event on July 3rd in Leeds city centre.
It is being held for the Soteria Network and will involve Huison and his team pushing a bed along a designated 12-mile route.
Bed pushers will set off from the Old Workhouse outside the entrance of St James'' Hospital in Leeds at 11:00 BST, before travelling to the Playhouse in Bradford.
The actor commented: "It''s an honour to be asked to be part of this pioneering group. I only hope more people can contribute to making it happen. Come and help push the bed with me!"
It was recently revealed that Huison would be auctioning off a number of items on eBay, including pieces from Coronation Street and The Full Monty.
