Women ''reign supreme'' when changing bedding

Changing bed linen is still very much a woman''s task in the home, one writer has revealed, with men less than happy about using fresh sheets.
The process requires a lot of effort, noted Laura Kemp in an article for the South Wales Echo, which is why it is lower down the agenda for men than ironing and vacuuming.
"Wrestle everything off the bed, pull off the sheets, then the pillowcases and duvet cover. Phew, isn''t it exhausting," she commented.
This is then followed by putting all of the clean bed linen on, which usually involves matching corner to corner when fitting a new duvet cover.
"It''s multi-tasking of the highest order and we all know women reign supreme at that," Ms Kemp joked.
This follows research published by the David Hide Asthma and Allergy Research Centre, which showed that children who have clean mattresses suffer less severe asthma symptoms than those who do not.
